According to Samsung, “it doesn’t take a genius to #NoteTheDifference”.
A day after Apple unveiled the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and Apple Watch in a highly anticipated event on Tuesday, Samsung released a new series of ads promoting its soon-to-be-launched Galaxy Note 4 smartphone and Gear S smartwatch, that also poked fun at its rival’s newly launched range of products.
Featuring two men who are supposed to be akin to Apple’s Genius tech support staff, the ads highlight the main differences between Apple and Samsung products. They also mocked Apple’s live stream during Tuesday’s event which was riddled with glitches and interruptions, the iPhone 6 getting a bigger screen size, and how the Apple Watch cannot function without an iPhone.
The ads also highlight how Samsung’s Fast Charging Mode, Multi Window multitasking and the Galaxy Note’s S Pen stylus are far superior to the corresponding features offered by or missing in the new Apple products.

Android users have also mocked Apple for its ‘new’ features, which are already available in Google, Samsung, and Sony smartphones.

The Apple iPhone 6 is set to hit markets after September 19 (the release date for India is October 17, according to Apple’s official website), while the Apple Watch is expected to be released early next year. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 smartphone and Gear S smartwatch are set to be available in October 2014.
